The supporters of Jamaica booed when Wicher Wilchwy Come Back was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Pietrowiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bogdan Gmoch might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demonde Jacobson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogdan Gmoch ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute, Romon Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demonde Jacobson was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Korneliusz Opat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Korneliusz Opat really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Korneliusz Opat made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Korneliusz Opat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Opat in the 77th minute of play. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Opat in the 79th minute of play. Tadeusz Dec was a little too slow when Jarell Hill got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 4-2.
