Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cassius Byrne kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, USA's Diego Bradley got a free kick in the 4th minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Landin in the 11th minute of the match. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Landin in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 16th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Cassius Byrne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Åke Källberg came out of the goal and Cassius Byrne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Oscar Lindholm sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 38th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Bradley made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Boca Juniors's Lars Ekberg. Monty Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Torgny Landin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 50th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 51st minute. The corner led USA's Cassius Byrne to fire away a dangerous shot which Jens-Åke Källberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jens-Åke Källberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Moore in the 52nd minute. The throw-in from Diego Bradley in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Boca Juniors's Dimitris Panagiotakis. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Lindholm in the 57th minute of play. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 61st minute of play. Boca Juniors's Jan Höijer was substituted for Özkan Kayaer. The throw-in from Jenson Smith in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Boca Juniors's Harry Hedling. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Edvard Dusett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Edvard Dusett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. In the 80th minute, Torgny Landin made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 86 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Boca Juniors were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
