After 14 minutes, Abel Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the South Jeolla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A hard shot by 김 초 from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Benito Sanz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 김 나 hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodolfo Mendonça kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, South Jeolla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Reynaldo Abidin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Rodolfo Mendonça put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Reynaldo Abidin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when 이 현 came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Carballo during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of South Jeolla FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, 이 현 put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 이 현, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. South Jeolla FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
