Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Rovine Craiova's Cristinel Leluțiu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristinel Leluțiu. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valer Lobonț in the 7th minute. After 8 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristinel Leluțiu who took care of the corner kick. Efrain Moruga tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Benito Sanz. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 8th minute. Cristinel Leluțiu scored 2-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrei Encescu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Teleagă in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Turcescu came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Negara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 29th minute of play. Cristinel Leluțiu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rovine Craiova. Cristinel Leluțiu took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 39th minute, Cristinel Leluțiu made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Cristinel Leluțiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. In the 51st minute, Cristinel Leluțiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Teleagă in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 55th minute. 6-0 became the score in the 56th minute when Cristinel Leluțiu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Rovine Craiova getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Marcu Vârjean hit a great ball. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Victor Negara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 72nd minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Cristinel Leluțiu made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute Basarab Teleagă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Marcel Turcescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Victor Negara in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Cristinel Leluțiu made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Marcel Turcescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Teleagă, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Rovine Craiova walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
