No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Sabahaddin in the 50th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Cazalla got free with Dani Vassaras in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Paddle might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Paddle ran back to his position shaking his head. If William Andries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute William Andries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, William Andries left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Andries, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. William Andries scored 7-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If William Andries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, William Andries notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, William Andries made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. If William Andries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's William Andries. But to his dismay, William Andries quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. The supporters of Uruguay booed when ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Paddle didn't get a good kick on the ball.
