Hector Hugo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Aurel Crivoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 22nd minute of play. Eliseo Mina took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurel Crivoi. Aurel Crivoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Paul Hermansson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurel Crivoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, one of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK.

Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Hugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Marius Neset hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK made a substitution. Bernt Offendahl replaced Paul Hermansson. Guld Run made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 71st minute, Peru's Milagros Fraga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aurel Crivoi. Aurel Crivoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Aurel Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Julian Murillo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 79th minute shot 2-5 at rihgt post. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. If Bernt Offendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK were awarded a corner. Guld Run went to the cornerflag to take it. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Offendahl in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Guld Run got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK.
