Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, SOMINECO's Hacı Paksoy got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Rıza Baliç hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes SOMINECO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Mir Güzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SOMINECO's Engin Seferoğlulları got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mir Güzel. In the 24th minute, Mir Güzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SOMINECO's Seçkin Eroğul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of SOMINECO booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seçkin Eroğul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 37th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Mir Güzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes SOMINECO got a freekick which was hit by Engin Seferoğlulları. Axel Tasis might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seçkin Eroğul. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Tasis ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to SOMINECO getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mehdi Kutlubay hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Mir Güzel made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Mehdi Kutlubay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Engin Seferoğlulları came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the SOMINECO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Engin Seferoğlulları couldn't finish the play. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Seçkin Eroğul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Engin Seferoğlulları recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Mir Güzel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOMINECO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mir Güzel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Mir Güzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOMINECO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mir Güzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. SOMINECO's supporters rose to their feet, but Mir Güzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Löfskog in the 85th minute of play. Mir Güzel succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. In the 91st minute Mir Güzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SOMINECO's Mir Güzel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the SOMINECO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
