In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind KPO BIZARRO's goalkeeper Candido Mercurio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by KPO BIZARRO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. In the 39th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KPO BIZARRO's Hu Zheng Yun got a free kick in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, KPO BIZARRO's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Candido Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Korkut Urza made the kick off in the second half. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Candido Mercurio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. KPO BIZARRO's Qiao Feng Ling was substituted for Korkut Urza. A sloppy throw-in by Nigel Cold in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Nigel Cold with Leif Levander as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of KPO BIZARRO booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
