Roch Resel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Bartlomiej Zalipski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartlomiej Zalipski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ryszard Kaczucha could save by the left post. The ■La■ ■Tristesse■ ■Durera■ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
