Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sheldon Cooper, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 17th minute of play forced SISTRELLS's goalkeeper Filomeno Benedicto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. SISTRELLS's Filomeno Benedicto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 24th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
