In the 10th minute, Ong Bongo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Bielejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dariusz Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Tafalla made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Santino Seco. Dariusz Bielejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Ong Bongo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ong Bongo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute of the match, Ong Bongo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Manzanares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Santino Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 53rd minute, Abram Sarmiento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dariusz Bielejewski. The goal made the score 1-3. Luis Cazalla made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Bemowo's Olgierd Trynda. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Ong Bongo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Cugat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Bemowo's goalkeeper Dariusz Bielejewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Cugat might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicasio Cugat ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute Nicasio Cugat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, FC Bemowo's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Dariusz Bielejewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes FC Bemowo got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Blanco. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. In the 78th match minute, FC Bemowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Blanco to maneuver through the defense. FC Bemowo's Dariusz Bielejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 79th minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Nicasio Cugat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th match minute, FC Bemowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roch Czeszyk to maneuver through the defense. If Pascual Carballar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Ignacio Mastache put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Dariusz Bielejewski. Dariusz Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 91st minute of play. Nicasio Cugat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicasio Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Cugat in the 95th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
