Adrian Zbora succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. Orhan Ortanca kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó. Hunor Csapó was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Hunor Csapó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Franky Ooms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hunor Csapó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hunor Csapó. Buffalo Timişoara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Hunor Csapó didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Hunor Csapó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hunor Csapó was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. A hard shot 40 in the game by Franky Ooms from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Adrian Zbora got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Franky Ooms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hunor Csapó read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Ooms in the 53rd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franky Ooms in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hunor Csapó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Wawrzyniec Pysz. Adrian Zbora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Franky Ooms came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Buffalo Timişoara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 87th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hunor Csapó was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. When Kiko Pirani fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buffalo Timişoara's protests and gave Kiko Pirani a yellow card for diving instead.
