D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. Valentin Bujor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Bujor was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Bujor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Bujor saved D.P.Aarburg from getting behind. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Bujor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the match, Cosme Fulanito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Fulanito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Valentin Bujor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. David Peralta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Cosme Fulanito took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Valentin Bujor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Cosme Fulanito tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play forced D.P.Aarburg's goalkeeper Valentin Bujor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unai Loizaga hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bujor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosme Fulanito to make the kick off. Cosme Fulanito hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Valentin Bujor made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Valentin Bujor in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, D.P.Aarburg's goalkeeper Valentin Bujor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Fulanito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Valentin Bujor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Valentin Bujor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. D.P.Aarburg made a substitution. Leal Castilho replaced David Peralta. The supporters of D.P.Aarburg booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, D.P.Aarburg's Cosme Fulanito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Fulanito came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leal Castilho in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, D.P.Aarburg could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
