Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in DIF LEEDS BK's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brazilio Butt came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 5 minutes, Jerry Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerry Jonasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerry Jonasson scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulf Nordlander in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brazilio Butt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Pál Kormos sent off a good shot on target. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Eduardo Selmo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DIF LEEDS BK. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Nordlander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ulf Nordlander succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 25th playminute. Eduardo Selmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Jerry Jonasson took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulf Nordlander to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Eduardo Selmo in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Nordlander in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jerry Jonasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 61stth minute of the game Ulf Nordlander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Brazilio Butt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Eduardo Selmo hit a great ball. Ulf Nordlander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerry Jonasson took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The long shot by Patricio Costa in the 96th minute really tested Brazilio Butt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. DIF LEEDS BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
