Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behçet Alp in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Angelo Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Farafulla FC's Angelo Boni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 27th minute of play. Andriy Shevchenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Angelo Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Behçet Alp's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Behçet Alp helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Farafulla FC's Behçet Alp got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Fabio Alfieri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Andriy Shevchenko sent off a good shot on target. Angelo Boni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Farafulla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Berardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 47th minute of play forced Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Angelo Boni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Angelo Boni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Cazalla in the 66th minute of play. Angelo Boni came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
