Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th match minute, Farafulla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Pantani to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 7th minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Farafulla FC's goalie and right to Alberto Tafalla. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Farafulla FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Boni having to make a save. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Alfredo Pantani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfredo Pantani really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 18th minute, Adalmo Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes, Christian Di Giulio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Farafulla FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Boni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Angelo Boni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Boni having to interfere. After some careless play in the Farafulla FC defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Boni. The Farafulla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Boni should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 36th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andriy Shevchenko was the one to do the kick off. Farafulla FC's Angelo Boni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of play. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Angelo Boni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After a rather tough play, Farafulla FC's Andriy Shevchenko got a free kick in the 59th minute. Farafulla FC's Angelo Boni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Farafulla FC from getting a goal against them. Angelo Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 63rd minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Angelo Boni made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Angelo Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Angelo Boni threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 68th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Angelo Boni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Angelo Boni in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Mexico's Luca Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Boni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
