He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 15th minute, Sultan-Mehmet Khan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Franck Gamel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sultan-Mehmet Khan was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Spase Kastrati was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 3-1. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sultan-Mehmet Khan in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Spase Kastrati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ✩ Pep Team ✩'s zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Spase Kastrati came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ✩ Pep Team ✩ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
