An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Cembranos in the 5th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Devran Aktürk took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Remigio Cembranos sent off a good shot on target. Jörg Wagner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 14th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Jörg Wagner. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Joshua Garrido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörg Wagner having to interfere. Peter Springer got a throw-in 19 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Martin Fourcade. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dénes Gera, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Akay Tuğsav hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Axel Montenegro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jörg Wagner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jörg Wagner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jörg Wagner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Remigio Cembranos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The supporters of Colombia booed when ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akay Tuğsav didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remigio Cembranos went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 46 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Axel Montenegro.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remigio Cembranos was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Cembranos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Cembranos came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th match minute, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chang Liang to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 70th minute, Chang Liang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Setzinger in the 72nd minute of play. Bjarte Sæverud struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martin Fourcade, made in the 77th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Alexander Setzinger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Alexander Setzinger managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Setzinger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the game, Kevin Mastache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Jörg Wagner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bjarte Sæverud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Alexander Setzinger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Alexander Setzinger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Akay Tuğsav's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akay Tuğsav helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akay Tuğsav to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
