Yassine Bounou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of BK Falcon booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play forced BK Falcon's goalkeeper Yassine Bounou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, BK Falcon's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Yassine Bounou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 14th minute, Milagros Fraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yassine Bounou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksymilian Prus in the 21st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match BK Falcon got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hubert Kvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. 37 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Kvist came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BK Falcon's Yassine Bounou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 38th minute of play. When Julian Murillo fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peru's protests and gave Julian Murillo a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Julian Murillo. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Charles Vestlund sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. Yassine Bounou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Peru were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Finman made a kick off. Yassine Bounou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of the match. Pontus Galle made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hubert Kvist however managed to control. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maksymilian Prus in the 54th minute of play. BK Falcon were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hubert Kvist took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Richard Finman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Richard Finman got in the 55th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Rolando Noboa handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Vestlund came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Charles Vestlund notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yassine Bounou came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 71st minute. Pontus Galle kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Vestlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saad Weeks in the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yassine Bounou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milagros Fraga scored 3-5 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yassine Bounou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. The BK Falcon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
