Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ali Numan Afak kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Numan Afak in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Carlos Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of the match. Kai-Christian Maletz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Baptista came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Numan Afak in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Ali Numan Afaks short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Baptista saved ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Carlos Baptista. Carlos Baptista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Carlos Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Hüseyin Turan Yalazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Numan Afak came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ made a substitution. Galip Mecnun replaced Erdeniz Karadeniz. Burak Demirsoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Carlos Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 61stth minute of the game Ali Numan Afak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Baptista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Ali Numan Afak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlos Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Ali Numan Afak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Burak Demirsoy ran over to the corner to take the kick. 85 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Baptista. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Rives in the 88th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Carlos Baptista in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Ali Numan Afak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ecuador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
