Edílson Souza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Edílson Souza took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dobri Koks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edílson Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Edílson Souza came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dobri Koks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 21st minute of the match. Dobri Koks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 39th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobri Koks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edílson Souza in the 59th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fifth Chicken's Krzysztof Dziewedik was substituted for Kazimierz Sliwinski.
