In the 15th minute, Lautaro Puig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manly FC's attentive Stan Peplow managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. Hugo Ferrant made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Manly FC's Stan Peplow. 21 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Manly FC's Munroe Brien quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Manly FC's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Case Tisdell came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Case Tisdell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calvin Vaughan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Eliseo Noboa with Aaron Alcocer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 36th minute of play forced Manly FC's goalkeeper Case Tisdell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Manly FC's Stan Peplow. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Case Tisdell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Neale Franklin was the one to do the kick off. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Case Tisdell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goalkeeper Case Tisdell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. Hugo Ferrant made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lautaro Puig immediately put the ball in play. In the 69th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Manly FC's Kent Barling quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 75th minute of the game Efrain Moruga made a throw-in which Eliseo Noboa played forward. The throw-in from Eliseo Noboa in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Manly FC's Kent Barling. After 80 played minutes Manly FC got a freekick which was hit by Stan Peplow. 84 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Manly FC's Munroe Brien quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Axel Tasis kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 87thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Manly FC's keeper Case Tisdell was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. A hard shot 88 in the game by Axel Tasis from a close distance when the talented Case Tisdell managed to make a qualified save. Manly FC's players were relieved. Abel Carballo made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Noboa immediately put the ball in play.
