The audience was convinced that 傅明誉's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute of play forced ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's goalkeeper 刘弘军 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Venezuela reached it. 何迅晨 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 刘弘军 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's 刘弘军. 刘弘军 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 傅明誉 in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as 严泉洲 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. After a rather tough play, ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's 陆亦然 got a free kick in the 37th minute. 周剑峰's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 周剑峰 helped the player get up and apologised. 周剑峰 hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 41st minute. 刘弘军 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 45th minute of the match. Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 刘弘军. 刘弘军 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 严泉洲 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, 刘弘军 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 59th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's 狄岩云 got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 傅明誉's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when 谢卫浩 put in a rough tackle. 谢卫浩 kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 严泉洲 in the 73rd minute of play. 傅明誉 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from 周剑峰 in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. In the 86th minute, 傅明誉 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 90th minute of the match, Tomas Illescas got a very nice opportunity to score, but 刘弘军 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. 傅明誉 hit a great ball. After 92 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦 players grew even worse after the yellow card. 94 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 傅明誉 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
