Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Berganza got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting Club Sicilia's Concetto Rucci slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. After 6 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. 7 minutes into the match, Concetto De Nardis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 13th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto De Nardis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Lampa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Alvaro Sanna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Concetto De Nardis made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wit Lampa got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Sanna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Guaberto Cristos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Club Sicilia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. Guaberto Cristos hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes, Sporting Club Sicilia's Concetto De Nardis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Club Sicilia reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Concetto Rucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Concetto Rucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Concetto Rucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the game, Concetto Rucci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Concetto Rucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Sporting Club Sicilia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Tomas Berganza scored to the left of an out of position Alvaro Sanna, making the score, 4-2. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto De Nardis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Guaberto Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Rucci in the 73rd minute of play. Alvaro Sanna made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Tomas Berganza sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Rucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wit Lampa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Cristos came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
