Constantin Maali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho de Barros in the 7th minute of play. Vitinho de Barros scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantin Maali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Álvaro Recoba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Leonard Rosen made a huge save. Constantin Maali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Tomás Azubeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Rosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Åström in the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Tomasz Motowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AA Bełchatów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomasz Motowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 46 minutes, Tonni Landberger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ABC anno 2012 est. 2002 and the AA Bełchatów players grew even worse after the yellow card. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Vitinho de Barros made the kick off in the second half. Leonard Rosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Azubeli in the 62nd minute of play forced AA Bełchatów's goalkeeper Leonard Rosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, ABC anno 2012 est. 2002's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Motowski came free, but Constantin Maali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Rosen came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by ABC anno 2012 est. 2002's Tomás Azubeli. But to his dismay, Tomás Azubeli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 85th minute Tomasz Motowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Maali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ABC anno 2012 est. 2002's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
