Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Mirco Kähler got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the game, Albert Kraft cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Fausto Montel sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. 13 minutes into the game, Fausto Montel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jesus Carvallo hit a great ball. The supporters of Rapid Wien booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Fausto Montel made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 26th minute, Luis Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Hagedorn came free in the 28th minute and tried to tip the ball over Ricardo Zorita, but to the joy of El Salvador's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. After 29 minutes, Moises Fernandino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Rapid Wien players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. Fausto Montel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Zorita when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fausto Montel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Hagedorn in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Fausto Montel might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Montel ran back to his position shaking his head. After 45 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. In the 46th minute, Shi Yuan Qi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapid Wien fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Luque to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Fausto Montel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 56th minute, Fausto Montel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapid Wien fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 59 minutes into the game, Abram Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rapid Wien the free kick. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Daniel Hagedorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Montel in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. In the 66th minute Rapid Wien were awarded a corner. Daniel Hagedorn went to the cornerflag to take it. Rapid Wien's Daniel Hagedorn was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ricardo Zorita in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Montel's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Fausto Montel scored 9-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rapid Wien's Timo-Fabian Wolf was substituted for Mirco Kähler. Valentino Ferrant hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Montel in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Montel struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rapid Wien. 96 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Skoczylas came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
