An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayındır Sarıkaya in the 16th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of DEMİREL.FC's Ambrosio Dobarral. The DEMİREL.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ambrosio Dobarral should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aykan İskenderoğlu made a kick off. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ambrosio Dobarral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 58th minute of play forced DEMİREL.FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Dobarral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ambrosio Dobarral. The goal made the score 1-5. The supporters of DEMİREL.FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Aldulescu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Aykan İskenderoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. DEMİREL.FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aykan İskenderoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The DEMİREL.FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
