After having played for 10 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Sebastian Pyrzyce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes Zielonka Gdansk got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Pyrzyce. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Pyrzyce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 22ndth minute of the game Sebastian Pyrzyce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Qiu Ling Lang took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. In the 38th minute, Sebastian Pyrzyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthew Garrido's late challenge caught a Zielonka Gdansk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthew Garrido helped the player get up and apologised. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Pyrzyce in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Pyrzyce to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Zielonka Gdansk booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Sebastian Pyrzyce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicasio Errapel charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Zielonka Gdansk's Jan Tomaszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Tomaszewski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ganga Banga in the 90th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zielonka Gdansk fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
