Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beldad. If Jaime Cazalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Quinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Julio Quinten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Camilo Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A well done corner resulted in Maximiliano Escribano drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper. Julio Quinten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Libertad in the 38th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Maximiliano Escribano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Quinten was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball.
The wind increased when Camilo Acevedo made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Camilo Acevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Sajones F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sajones F.C.'s Benjamin Berdoi got a free kick in the 71st minute. Sajones F.C. made a substitution. Nunez Quinteros replaced Camilo Acevedo. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sajones F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Julio Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Clemente Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uruguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
