Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. Niculae Romanescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 2nd minute of play. Niculae Romanescu came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Niculae Romanescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. 23 minutes into the match, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Niculae Romanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Romanescu having to interfere. After 36 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tymoteusz Wierzcholek who took care of the corner kick. Niculae Romanescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Isak Lundqvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Niculae Romanescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niculae Romanescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the match, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's goalkeeper Niculae Romanescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco van Basten in the 72nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco van Basten struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CWKS KĘDZIERZYN. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Lucas Mancheño was substituted for Velimir Bostandzhiev. Niculae Romanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klement Makarewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. After a rather tough play, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Klement Makarewicz got a free kick in the 79th minute. Jenson Smith took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niculae Romanescu. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Mateusz Klich got a free kick in the 80th minute. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michaël Guillot, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Khalid Parry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michaël Guillot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. After some careless play in the CWKS KĘDZIERZYN defense, Sam Campbell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niculae Romanescu. The CWKS KĘDZIERZYN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niculae Romanescu should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Niculae Romanescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The USA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing USA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
