In the 4th minute of the match Salem Gunners BK got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Viggo Berggren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. After 12 played minutes Salem Gunners BK got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Palmeira. In the 12th minute, Salem Gunners BK's Frederico Palmeira fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Lautaro Navarro was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. The throw-in from Timmy Backman in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. 21 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cícero Teles. A collision led to Salem Gunners BK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Viggo Berggren hit a great ball. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Salem Gunners BK's goalkeeper Prodromos Britzolidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Salem Gunners BK's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prodromos Britzolidis came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prodromos Britzolidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Frederico Palmeira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Navarro during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 49th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Prodromos Britzolidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 57th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Salem Gunners BK's Viggo Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Hjalmar Fransen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. In the 67th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. Viggo Berggren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Fransen in the 72nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Edmundo Espiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Fransen, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hjalmar Fransen's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. A collision led to Salem Gunners BK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nils Smitt hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Sundén in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Frederico Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Hjalmar Fransen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Honduras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
