Christos Kostis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alketas Tsirakis in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Nores, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Christos Kostis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Paraguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏:s goal. Christos Kostis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christos Kostis went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Iker Tafalla hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Eber Ludueña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th play minute Alketas Tsirakis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacobo Nores. 5-0. In the 40th match minute, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trifon Theofilatos to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Christos Kostis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores, 6-0.
The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. Harry Kane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Christos Kostis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Primitivo Escribano hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Christos Kostis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Eber Ludueña broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 78 minutes into the match, Christos Kostis notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Paraskevas Panagiotakos got a free kick in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christos Kostis in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Covarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zinon Anagnostou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. When Babbis Zabetas came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Babbis Zabetas couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Kostis's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Primitivo Escribano hit a great ball. Eber Ludueña took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 94th minute, Paraskevas Panagiotakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Kostis in the 96th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏.
