A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Olympique Salonais's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Raymond Foubert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Etxepare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. The Olympique Salonais fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Olympique Salonais's Song Peng Xi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Raymond Foubert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Cheng Feng in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zheng Liang Song showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Song Peng Xi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zheng Liang Song. Song Peng Xi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Hector Etxepare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cheng Feng got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Noël Maunoury. Noël Maunoury's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noël Maunoury helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Olympique Salonais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noël Maunoury to maneuver through the defense.

Olympique Salonais's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ma Chao Yong in the 52nd minute. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Etxepare, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Cheng Feng got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Noël Maunoury. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Etxepare in the 59th minute of the match. Zheng Liang Song fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Olympique Salonais's Hilario Chale was substituted for Hector Etxepare. If Song Peng Xi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Song Peng Xi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milagros Cabal charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Milagros Cabal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Hilario Chale scored 5-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Chale in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Hilario Chale struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique Salonais. Olympique Salonais walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
