Björn Bergren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocco Owen in the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gnaget leker's zone, Rocco Owen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Bergren came out of the goal and Rocco Owen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gnaget leker's Bengt-Åke Hermansson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Harvey Doyle got a free kick in the 34th minute. Björn Bergren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lochlan Newman in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Curacao's Kyle Davies nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Björn Bergren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Davies was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Doyle. In the 55th minute Bengt-Åke Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. One of Gnaget leker:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Curacao:s goal. 72 minutes into the game, Curacao's Stanley Wallace nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Björn Bergren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 75 minutes into the game, Kyle Davies recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Björn Bergren. Kyle Davies showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Davies in the 83rd minute of play forced Gnaget leker's goalkeeper Björn Bergren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inge Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kyle Davies struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Björn Bergren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curacao. Stanley Wallace received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Björn Bergren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björn Bergren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocco Owen in the 97th minute of the match. With a little luck, Gnaget leker's Björn Bergren got control of the ball when Stanley Wallace tried to sneak it across the goal line. Curacao's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
