Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. If Huib Alberts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Daniël Kromme came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bierunese's Daniël Kromme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniël Kromme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniël Kromme. Bierunese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After having played for 84 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes, Alex van Zomeren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bierunese and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bierunese's Alex van Zomeren got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bierunese's Daniël Kromme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Job Zijden got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gerard Krijnenburg. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
