Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 7 minutes, Ricardinho Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New England Patriots's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, New England Patriots's Rareș Necula got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of New England Patriots booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Yepes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gerrit Hardering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Lorenzo Yepes got a free kick in the 28th minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, New England Patriots's Nelsinho Paulista got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Mateo Leguizamo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Hardering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes New England Patriots's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mateo Leguizamo who took care of the corner kick. In the 41st minute Nelsinho Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerrit Hardering made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 44th minute of play. Lorenzo Yepes got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 46th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Yepes to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Queiroz didn't quite understand what happened when in the 48 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After the first half El Salvador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Didi Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, New England Patriots's Ricardinho Macedo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Patriots's Sahnoyan Şah. But to his dismay, Sahnoyan Şah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 73 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Macedo came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robertinho Teodorowski in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardinho Macedo in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jesus Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, New England Patriots's Sahnoyan Şah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The supporters of New England Patriots booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelsinho Paulista scored 3-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. New England Patriots had played much better football throughout.
