Matteo Mata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Luis Cazalla got a free kick in the 13th minute. Matteo Mata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Matteo Mata received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Matteo Mata slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute of play forced ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s goalkeeper Derman Soysaldı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. 23 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Matteo Mata came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derman Soysaldı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. If Mariusz Fink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. A hard shot 41 in the game by Matteo Mata from a close distance when the talented Pedro Manzanares managed to make a qualified save. Colombia's players were relieved. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atahan Balyemez, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Derman Soysaldı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Matteo Mata took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Matteo Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Derman Soysaldı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Matteo Mata might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matteo Mata ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Matteo Mata came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derman Soysaldı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Colombia made a substitution. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Orlando Tafalla got a free kick in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Matteo Mata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matteo Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Santino Seco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Derman Soysaldı came out and tried to block the shot, but Santino Seco slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 87th minute. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
