André Onana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 31st minute of play forced Sielce Warszawa's goalkeeper André Onana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 35 minutes in the game, Roman Kaczynski dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Janusz Haskiewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Janusz Haskiewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Janusz Haskiewicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 40th minute of play forced Sielce Warszawa's goalkeeper André Onana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Kaczynski to strike the kick off in the second half. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sielce Warszawa's Gunnsteinn Guðbjörnsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 54th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Sielce Warszawa's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Onana came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sielce Warszawa getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gunnsteinn Guðbjörnsson hit a great ball. Gunnsteinn Guðbjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with André Onana in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. André Onana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Kaczynski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. André Onana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 76th minute. Sielce Warszawa's Du Shu Yuan was substituted for Apolo Lia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of play forced Sielce Warszawa's goalkeeper André Onana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sielce Warszawa's André Onana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Sielce Warszawa from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and André Onana could save by the left post. Sielce Warszawa's André Onana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Luca Rouco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sielce Warszawa's André Onana did a great save. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. André Onana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but André Onana made a huge save. 95 minutes into the game, Leon Karp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sielce Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 95th match minute, Sielce Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Karp to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sielce Warszawa.
