With 8 minutes on the clock, Roland Schiavi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Abandon All Hope fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Abandon All Hope:s Meng Yan Jing showed great skill when he stopped Edmundo Espiga:s penalty. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Emil Dunajski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Abandon All Hope's Emil Dunajski got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dedê de Castro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lautaro Navarro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Ye Hong dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Emil Dunajski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd play minute Edmundo Espiga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Meng Yan Jing. 3-1. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Meng Yan Jing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedê de Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. In the 69th minute, Emil Dunajski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abandon All Hope fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Borys Czeberowski got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jiang Sang Qing. In the 77th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Dedê de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meng Yan Jing made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Borys Czeberowski with Jiang Sang Qing as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Gilbert Gorzkiewicz hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ye Hong in the 96th minute of play. Dedê de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abandon All Hope's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
