FC Lëtzebuerg's Terry Kieffer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Vlădean in the 20th minute of play. Terry Kieffer came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO's 邓真傲. But to his dismay, 邓真傲 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a little luck, DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil got control of the ball when Danny Edelmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sammy Schmitz's late challenge caught a DINAMO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sammy Schmitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Claudio Cina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Lëtzebuerg's Terry Kieffer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 邓真傲 in the 37th minute of play. Sammy Schmitz was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Terry Kieffer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邓真傲, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Edward von Grimmelhausen kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 邓真傲 made a kick off. In the 52nd minute 邓真傲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terry Kieffer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Cina came free, but Terry Kieffer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Moise Vlădean could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Terry Kieffer however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Edelmann in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ysmael Marfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudio Cina had several of the FC Lëtzebuerg's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Terry Kieffer as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 72nd minute of the match, Moise Vlădean got a very nice opportunity to score, but Terry Kieffer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Petru Avramescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Terry Kieffer made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper Terry Kieffer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moise Vlădean. In the 76th minute, Petru Avramescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Terry Kieffer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Cina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Claudio Cina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
