After some careless play in the Peru defense, Rikard Wolff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Carsten Eckstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Carsten Eckstein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ralf Björk in the 14 minute of the game. Alonso Berganza got a throw-in 16 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Moises Gayoso. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rikard Wolff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Södertälje's Carsten Eckstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsten Eckstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Markus Svensson got free with Rolando Noboa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Real Södertälje made a substitution. Urki Regalado replaced Jakob Källberg. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Markus Svensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 56th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conny Komen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carsten Eckstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Milagros Fraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carsten Eckstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. If Markus Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 68 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Svensson came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Markus Svensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Real Södertälje's Manuel Baican got a free kick in the 75th minute. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Södertälje's Markus Svensson. But to his dismay, Markus Svensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Ralf Björk with Urki Regalado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 89 minutes in the game Urki Regalado did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Conny Komen. Carsten Eckstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute of play forced Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Carsten Eckstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
