He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Wrocanka's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 10 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kajetan Dawiec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sverker Danielsson in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Danielsson came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Wieslaw Cichowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wrocanka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wieslaw Cichowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Wrocanka had won after a very even match.
