With a little luck, FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær got control of the ball when Rohan Watson tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Kurdistan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Koby Wright scored to the left of an out of position Alaaddin Solskjær, making the score, 0-2. In the 58th minute Rohan Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Canada were awarded a corner. Jan Dixon went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Canada's Rohan Watson to fire away a dangerous shot which Alaaddin Solskjær despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Edwards in the 65th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alaaddin Solskjær was a little too slow when Luka Harris got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 2-4. In the 93rd minute, Yin Yun Fan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, FC Kurdistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yin Yun Fan to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Canada could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Kurdistan throughout the match.
