Konstantinas Malevičius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jonas Mikuckis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Mikuckis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 9th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Mikuckis, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Konstantinas Malevičius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Konstantinas Malevičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a defensive mix-up in LFK Spyris's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantinas Malevičius came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Aldas Alvinskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced LFK Spyris's goalkeeper Konstantinas Malevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, LFK Spyris's Aldas Alvinskas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Vitoldas Misius hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konstantinas Malevičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aldas Alvinskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Jonas Mikuckis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Jonas Mikuckis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 50th match minute, LFK Spyris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Mikuckis to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstantinas Malevičius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Konstantinas Malevičius, passed just outside the right post. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinas Malevičius having to interfere. Cristian Sancho in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Konstantinas Malevičius, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aldas Alvinskas scored 4-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 73 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Konstantinas Malevičius in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80thth minute of the game Jonas Mikuckis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldas Alvinskas's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Mikuckis in the 90th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldas Alvinskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, LFK Spyris's Jonas Mikuckis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dainius Pumputis hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Konstantinas Malevičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Konstantinas Malevičius. LFK Spyris's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but LFK Spyris were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
