Bicicleta F.C.'s Tony Löv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th match minute, Bicicleta F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Arendt to maneuver through the defense. Tony Löv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Griezmann in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Segundo Feliu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Löv narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoine Griezmann in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Julio Vera had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Antoine Griezmann's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antoine Griezmann ran over to the corner to take the kick. 32 minutes into the match, Bicicleta F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tony Löv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, Bicicleta F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Tony Löv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Tony Löv however easily saved by the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Löv narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Tony Löv made a huge save. Bicicleta F.C. made a substitution. Eleuterio Sotil replaced Andreas Arendt. After 62 played minutes Bicicleta F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Courbe. Bicicleta F.C. made a substitution. Javier Gagriel replaced Lucas Basualdo. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Löv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tony Löv made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bicicleta F.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gregorio Abalos fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bicicleta F.C.'s protests and gave Gregorio Abalos a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tony Löv could save by the left post. After 94 minutes Bicicleta F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. When Segundo Feliu fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bicicleta F.C.'s protests and gave Segundo Feliu a yellow card for diving instead. Segundo Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
