Flamengo FSCMZ's Silas Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 17th minute of play. Silas Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Silas Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Aquiles Leonidas made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Aquiles Leonidas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Leonidas in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Enrico Rea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamengo FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. Enrico Rea kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquiles Leonidas made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the game Jose Carita made a throw-in which Miguel Miralles played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 54th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silas Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Flamengo FSCMZ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Aquiles Leonidas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. Gui Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Silas Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Leonidas in the 75th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
