In the 8th minute Ruud van Nistelrooij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruud van Nistelrooij scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Underdogs's Ruud van Nistelrooij was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The throw-in from Lasse Penttilä in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Underdogs were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patryk Kociniewski took the corner. The corner ended in Patryk Kociniewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro did a great save. Ruud van Nistelrooij who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ruud van Nistelrooij's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The throw-in from Christian Sancho in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Underdogs's Lasse Penttilä. Christian Sancho charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Sancho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Christian Sancho got a free kick in the 40th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruud van Nistelrooij to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Ruud van Nistelrooij made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 54 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Mentus came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 57th minute of play. Ruud van Nistelrooij blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Underdogs made a substitution. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis replaced Ruud van Nistelrooij. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. If Apostolis Arvanitoyannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78thth minute of the game Apostolis Arvanitoyannis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Underdogs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patryk Kociniewski in the 90th minute. The corner ended in Patryk Kociniewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro did a great save. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Apostolis Arvanitoyannis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apostolis Arvanitoyannis, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Underdogs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
