Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Przemyslaw Przybylo lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. Milosz Ikalewicz struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Przemyslaw Przybylo made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Józef Wandzik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Józef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes Cosmos 1984 NewDance's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Józef Wandzik quite easily take care of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Przemyslaw Przybylo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
