Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Themis Papadimoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 12th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Brătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 17th minute of play forced VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Brătescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Brătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Themis Papadimoulis came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucrețiu Brătescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lv Kun Liang in the 42nd minute of play. Lorenzo Cazalla lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Themis Papadimoulis to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Brătescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. In the 55th minute, Kang Yun Chao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucrețiu Brătescu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Felix Luque. But to his dismay, Felix Luque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Róbert Štriker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lv Kun Liang to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 76th minute. VfL Bad Nenndorf made a substitution. Roland Holthuis replaced Themis Papadimoulis. In the 79th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Holthuis in the 83rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Róbert Štriker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Róbert Štriker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Holthuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Roland Holthuis put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. In the 96th match minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lv Kun Liang to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 98thth minute. Though ot was a great shot VfL Bad Nenndorf's keeper Lucrețiu Brătescu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
