The crowd rose to their feet as FC Bonin's Gojko Bešlić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Costa Rica:s Benito Sanz showed great skill when he stopped Wasyl Harasimowicz:s penalty. The supporters of FC Bonin booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, FC Bonin's Gojko Bešlić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 21st play minutes Gojko Bešlić shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when FC Bonin's Gustavo Bou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wasyl Harasimowicz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gojko Bešlić in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gojko Bešlić. In the 34th play minute Gustavo Bou came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 6-0. When Ivory Gunn came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC Bonin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivory Gunn couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Gojko Bešlić came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Bonin's Gojko Bešlić was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Gustavo Bou sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Maraman Muriedas in the 51st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Gojko Bešlić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bonin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Ivory Gunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Ivory Gunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wasyl Harasimowicz took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. In the 67th minute, Gojko Bešlić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Harasimowicz in the 75th minute of the match. Maraman Muriedas made a great header on FC Bonin's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of FC Bonin booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maraman Muriedas struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bonin. After 83 minutes of play, FC Bonin's Gustavo Bou made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wasyl Harasimowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wasyl Harasimowicz took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. 92 minutes into the game, FC Bonin's Gustavo Bou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Bonin had played much better football throughout.
